Private Vancouver to Victoria Tour, If you are interested in learning all about the culture and history of Victoria + Vancouver, this tour is for you.
The tour starts with an initial pickup from your Vancouver hotel/Port. We will then depart to the grand BC ferry and relax at the scenic cruise through the Gulf Islands. Once arriving at Victoria, we will go to Butchart garden and spend some time admiring the flower-filled paths, discover the many themed gardens and admire masterful landscaping along the way.
After the garden visit, we will head towards Victoria to see the Craigdarroch Castle. On the car ride you’ll see landmarks like the Legislature Buildings, Empress Hotel, Beacon Hill Park and more. Once you are at the ‘Castle’, you will have a guided tour of the Castle explaining its history and its Cultural Significance while looking at the awe-inspiring Gothic architecture.
On our trip back to the ferry we will pass through the scenic marine drive where you can grab some pictures and then ride ferry arriving at Vancouver concluding our wonderful experience.
The Castle was completed in 1890 and is a stately home built by the pioneering couple Joan and Robert Dunsmuir, who at the time of its construction were the wealthiest people in British Columbia. Called a 'castle' due to its imposing exterior, the luxurious interior has been restored to look as though the visitor is a guest of Mrs. Dunsmuir during the 1890s. It features beautiful woodwork, unique Victorian artifacts, and an impressive collection of original stained glass, all within a pleasant walk from downtown Victoria.

The Butchart Gardens is a National Historic Site of Canada, it is 55 acres of a wonderful floral display located in Greater Victoria on Vancouver Island. People will enjoy the various vast flowers and exotic birdlife here.
