Each holiday season, Lights of Hope transforms the façade of St. Paul's Hospital into a beacon of hope and joy. Join thousands of festive British Columbians on Thursday, November 17 for the 2022 Lights of Hope Community Celebration at St. Paul's Hospital in downtown Vancouver!
At Canuck Place, all lives are precious, no matter how long they shine. This holiday season, light a life at Canuck Place and help short lives shines bright.
The busiest beach location in the heart of Vancouver is English Bay Beach, commonly known as First Beach, which is situated along Beach Avenue between Gilford and Bidwell Streets. Along the east side of the shore, the Stanley Park Seawall, a well-known running and biking trail, runs.
Gastown, named after "Gassy" Jack Deighton, is Vancouver's historic neighborhood of independent design, culture, food, and fashion. I stumbled upon its quaint downtown streets by accident but quickly fell in love with the architecture, storefront displays, and sparkling, romantic lights. Since it was late in the evening most stores were closed already but it made the streets more intimate, it definitely deserves a walk through at night.
Bright Nights was going to run from November 26th in 2021 until January 2nd in 2022. Due to a theft of its power source near the end of its season, however, its final day of operations, sadly, was December 30th.
