Downtown Coal Harbour is renowned for its marina, mountain views, and assortment of luxury and casual waterfront restaurants. In the vicinity of the cutting-edge, grass-roofed Vancouver Convention Centre, seaplanes take off in the shadow of gleaming residential complexes. The Vancouver Aquarium, which houses tropical fish, penguins, and a touch pool for stingrays, is located in forested Stanley Park, along the shore of the paved Seawall walking and bicycling trail.
